MENCARI ATAU MENJADI?
"Ada gula ada semut", begitu bunyi pepatah lama yang kebenarannya tetap berlaku. Banyak orang akan berkumpul di sekeliling orang kaya. Berlagak sebagai kawan, tentu saja demi mendapat cipratan rezeki. Namun, kenyataan membuktikan bahwa mereka sebenarnya bukan teman, melainkan benalu; bukan sahabat, melainkan penjilat. Sikap mereka akan berubah drastis seiring keadaan yang berubah. Habis manis sepah
dibuang.
Kenyataan di atas kerap dialami oleh orang yang tadinya kaya, kemudian jatuh miskin. Yang semula tebu, tetapi akhirnya tinggal jadi ampas. Maka, semua yang tadinya teman tiba-tiba saja menghilang. Namun, tidak berarti si kaya pun tidak merasakan "pahit"-nya kebenaran ini. Penulis Amsal adalah salah satu contohnya. Ia adalah si kaya yang sadar bahwa yang ada padanya bukan kawan. Yang berkerumun di sekelilingnya tak lebih daripada para penjilat. Padahal yang ia butuhkan adalah teman. Orang kaya pun punya kesusahan dan kesukaran. Mereka butuh solidaritas seorang sahabat sejati. Sedangkan "persahabatan" palsu menghadirkan kesepian dan kemuakan tersendiri bagi si kaya.
Semua orang perlu teman yang setia di segala waktu. Entah ia kaya atau miskin. Tidak ada manusia yang suka diperalat pada saat ia kaya, lalu dengan begitu saja dicampakkan pada saat ia miskin. Kenyataannya memang sulit mencari seorang sahabat, baik bagi si miskin maupun si kaya. Oleh sebab itu, siapa pun Anda, janganlah terpaku hanya "mencari" sahabat; justru sebaliknya "jadilah" sahabat bagi yang membutuhkan. Sama seperti Yesus tatkala hadir di dunia ini.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.
You know life is going crazy. But what if we could stop, pause to take stock of each precious moment before it passes?
Might we then see the endless forks in the road that have shaped a life?
And, seeing those choices, choose another path?
There is not enough darkness in the entire world to put out the light of even one small candle...

Friends Are
Friends are more than just the people I hang out with.
They make me laugh, they keep my secrets, they offer advice (some good, some bad), they give me a shoulder to cry on.
Sometimes they move away, or betray my trust, or flake out, but mostly they are the people who are always there for me.
And they know I'll be there when they need me most. Because that's what it means to be a friend.
They understands and someone I can trust. They will listen to me both night and day without ever making a fuss.
A friend will stand by your side when I’m right and sometimes when I was wrong.

Universitas kehidupan
Ketika kerjamu tidak dihargai, maka saat itu kau sedang belajar tentang KETULUSAN.
Ketika usahamu dinilai tidak penting, maka saat itu kau sedang belajar KEIKHLASAN.
Ketika hatimu terluka sangat dalam, maka saat itu kau sedang belajar tentang MEMAAFKAN.

Disiplin dalam hidup
Bukankah sering kita diajarkan untuk disiplin dalam hidup. Disiplin dalam menepati janji, disiplin berlalu lintas, disiplin dalam menyelesaikan assignment kita, disiplin bangun pagi, dan sederet kewajiban dan pakem lainnya.
Sekarang g pengen ngebahas tentang disiplin kita untuk memenuhi kewajiban kita memenuhi kebutuhan diri sendiri. Realita sekarang orang melulu mementingkan tanggung jawabnya terhadap pekerjaan, orang lain, rasa tidak enak terhadap sesama. Bagaimana dengan kebutuhan diri untuk beristirahat? Kebutuhan diri untuk berbahagia? Disiplinlah. jangan membawa pekerjaan dan masalahnya ke rumah. Ketika pulang tinggalkan semua beban pekerjaan anda di kantor. kita punya kewajiban untuk beristirahat pikiran agar bebas dari stress dan istirahat badan. Ini juga bentuk tanggung jawab anda terhadap pekerjaan agar kita dapat 100% ketika memulai hari, kita memulai hari kita dengan pikiran dan badan yang fresh.
Berliburlah, geluti hobby, kembangkan minat itu kewajiban kita terhadap diri kita. Hidup tidak melulu tentang uang dan pekerjaan ada nilai-nilai yang lebih penting daripada itu apalagi kalau bukan keluarga dan teman. Ketika pekerjaan boleh pergi, kejayaan hilang, kecantikkan rupa pudar siapa yang masih ada untuk kita selain keluarga dan teman-teman yang setia? Jadi hendklah kita memberikan waktu dan perhatian kita 100% ketika kita memiliki kesempatan untuk bersama dengan mereka. :)
