My first encounter with this song is a friend of mine gave me the mp3 file of this song at first I didn't really like the song. Cause what I heard was only a repetition of lines over and over again.. Then months after that I went to a retreat that was held by my senior high school. The father at that retreat sang this song with his baritone voice. And I just fell in love with this song cause that was the first time really know what's the real meaning of the lyric.. You in this song I said as the symbolize of God.. Only Him and only Him... Musiknya ditulis ama Rolf Løvland (Secret Garden) dan liriknya oleh Brendan Graham. Lagu ini dah memiliki cover version sebanyak 125 buah.

Awalnya lagu ini ditulis sebagai sebuah karya instrumen yang diberi nama "Silent Story". Lalu Løvland mendekati novelis sekaligus pengarang lagu asal Irlandia yang bernama Brendan Graham untuk menuliskan lirik untuk melodi yang dia buat. Tapi baru ngetopnya banget sejak David Foster memutuskan untuk make lagu ini untuk penyanyi pendatang barunya yang semua juga pasti tau gimana boomnya setelah dinyanyiin ama Josh Groban.
